Dear Kurt,

I have spoken to Ruth several times and she has kept us abreast of Chiara's condition. We are happy to hear that she has been moved from intensive care. I know you are looking forward to Lella and Celso's visit. I'm sure it will help all of you to be together for a while. Are prayers continue to be with you and Chiara.

Kurt, I am so sorry for your lost. My fervent prayers go out for you and your daughter. May she have a full recovery and you both increase daily with all you require.

Words cannot change anything, but perhaps everyone's prayers and wishes will comfort you somehow. I met Elena when she visited her cousin in Florida. She was a friendly and sweet soul; I'm so sorry for your loss.

I was and am very deeply saddened that Elena was taken away this soon. I worked with her at Gardner Carton & Douglas and really loved her personality. My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Elena. Marilouise Scott
