Dear Ed and Herr family,
I was a one of Eleanor's oldest Seeley St. neighbors. She was already a "fixture" on the block when I moved here in 1978. We were both dog lovers so that's what most of our conversations revolved around. She was a lovely woman and was missed by the block when she moved. We were glad that you were able to bring her back to the block parties in the summer. She will be missed at the next block party.

We met Eleanor 16 years ago when we moved onto a special street in Chicago called Sealy.
We are honored to have been a part of her life. She loved people, her pets....especially her dog Buddy, her family and the life she shared with all of us on our one block long street at the south end of Hamlin Park.
Eleanor was a very special lady and we see her now, in heaven, taking long walks with Buddy. We will always keep them both in our heart.
