Eleanor Williams Obituary

Eleanor Williams of New Port Richey, FL, passed away on Tuesday, July 23 at the age of 81. Eleanor was born in Glenboig, Scotland to the late Albert and Eleanor Mcleod. She moved to the US in 1954 and lived in New York and Detroit before moving to Florida in the mid 1980's. Eleanor worked for Bell Telephone as a telephone operator and loved playing 10 pin bowling while in Detroit. She was an avid golfer having scored two hole-in-ones within the same month. Eleanor also loved raising flowers, making pottery, and traveling throughout the US and Europe. She was a member of the Red Hat Ladies as well as the River Ridge Country Club. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband, Les who passed away after 41 wonderful years of marriage; her brother, George; and sister, Elizabeth. She is survived by her sisters, Ina, and Greta; as well as too many loving nieces and nephews to mention. Eleanor was a kind and loving soul who really knew how to enjoy life and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
