As one of several pastors to serve the former Ashburn UMC, Eleanor was a blessing to worship with, to work with, and to be with. As Staff-Parish Chair, she and I had a challenge or two to work on together, which made the challenge easier to handle together. I can still hear her voice from our conversations. What a blessing from God that she has been to many! Her body has ceased existing but her spirit and joy live on within us.Thanks be to God for such a gift!

We will always remember Eleanor's genuine nature and kind heart. "Granny" Nethercott was like another grandmother our children. Our deepest sympathies to all. Remember the wonderful moments with Eleanor that make you smile.

Eleanor was Coli and Dannys' Grandmother Nethercott! We will all miss her. She was always sweet, gentle, and caring with my family and we always looked forward to talking with her. She will be missed! Our 8yr old son, Danny, said it best, "This is a very sad day for the people who new her!"
