Dr. Freeman was a very good friend and colleague during my years as the Director of the University Without Walls at Chicago State University. I remember him as a very friendly, supportive faculty advisor to my students, several of whom graduated under our collaborative association. He provided advisement in the field of business and administration, while I provided administrative direction and support. Eldridge and I had many pleasant and creative moments. Unfortunately, I lost track of him after I left CSU in 1985 to work in health care administration at Cook County Hospital. Mr. Freeman is one of several faculty members who helped make my job easier while at CSU, and I am in his debt, and will always remember him with warmth and gratitude.

To the family of Dr. Freeman,
I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family of Dr. Freeman.
Dr. Freeman was one of the best professors and Chair of the Business and Administration department at Chicago State University. In addition, under his sponsorship of Phi Beta Lambda, I benefited from his knowledge as an authentic leader.
May God continue to comfort you in your time of grief.

T0: THE FAMILY OF BROTHER ELDRIDGE T. FREEMAN
The Indianapolis Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi offer our deepest and sincere condolences. Brother Freeman's impact to the development of our fraternity at all levels has been truly amazing!
In this unhappy hour, I am reminded of the book of John, which states "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my word and believes Him who sent me, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life." I pray that these words offer comfort to you as Brother Freeman experiences the joy and comfort of being in the presence of God.
Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that the Brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi stand with you in your sorrow. May the peace that comes from the memories of love shared comfort you now and in the days ahead.
