Wasserman, Elaine (nee Levin), beloved wife of Alan "Boomie", devoted mother of Jack (Lymor), Joel (Annie), Maurice and Mara, proud bubby to Maya and Madison, dear sister of Allen (Paula) Levin, the late Michelle Levin, special sister-in-law to Barbara Miramonti, adored by nieces, nephews, cousins and abundant friends. Services Wednesday, 12:30 p.m., at the Chicago Jewish Funerals Chapel. 195 North Buffalo Grove (one block North of Lake Cook Road), Buffalo Grove, IL. Interment Sunset Memorial Lawns, Northbrook, IL. During high school Mara was my best friend and Elaine was like a second mom. I will never forget how she opened her home and heart to so many of us. A truly unique and special person...she will be dearly missed.

To Boomie and family - Corky and I send our deepest sympathies to each of you at this time - Elaine was an incredible friend to all with a huge heart. She graduated high school with Corky but I met her through Paula and now the two ladies can romp in heaven together. She will be sorely missed. Two in less than a year is difficult - we will miss her.
