Elaine Ordower Obituary

My heart is heavy today after hearing of Elaine's passing. I had the pleasure to be a part of her life in high school. It really is a wake up call that our lives are so precious. Please embrace my prayers for I know Elaine was a great Mom and wife.

I interacted with Elaine frequently while working for Larry at the law firm, and she was always vibrant, pleasant, and, first and foremost, concerned about her family. I was saddened to hear of your great loss. I have come to know Elaine over the years, while working at Citywoods.I helped her many times to choose gifts and in the process, we would visit and talk and I learned how very much she loved all of you and also how much she enjoyed her profession. She was a wonderful person and we will miss her. Our thoughts are with all of you at this difficult time.

Dear Larry, Garrett and Jamie,
Sandi and I have just learned of Elaines passing and are in a state of shock. You are well aware of how close we have always felt towards the Ordower family and talk often about the good times we enjoyed with your great parents Ben & Rita. We miss them and throught them we felt like part of the Ordower family. Sandi has recently been discharged from Northwestern Hospital, after a 36 day stay. However, her problem has not been life threatening. Their is little we can say at this time and often saying nothing is better then words. Thinking of you at this most difficult time.

Elaine was an inspiring leader and mentor...she really started my love for federation and all things JUF. I am so saddened to hear of her passing. what a loss for her husband, her children and our entire community. May you be comforted with your memories of the wonderful person she was.
