Eileen Wasserman Obituary

So many blessed memories growing up in Hyde Park and the loving things my mother, Miriam Bazell, used to say about her dear friend, Eileen. Her twins played with us, I'm also a twin. I also remember Eileen and my mom performing in dance theatre in Hyde Park. xo

I wanted to let you know that through this guest book, my husband, Feli Cueva was able to reconnect after decades with Jeff Bazell. I think Eileen would be tickled that she's still heping folks connect and making lives richer!

Thank you Mrs. Wasserman for the good conversations whenever I would bump into you in Hyde Park. I will miss you.

Dear Wasserman girls, I am so very sorry to hear of your mother's death. I loved your obituary and I have a vivid memory of her huge shock of black hair, her warmth to us kids, and her alive energy. Much love to you, I am thinking of you and your mom. I will also let my mother know.

I loved running into Eileen. I first met her when she traipsed up to my store the Salon of Modalisque. She always was so sweet, had really loving things to say. Condolences to her girls, whom she adored and to her many friends and extended family.

Never any expression except a huge smile. I remember before I could walk, feeling the warm, positive energy of Eileen.

For me, Eileen was part of a friend's extended family. But she was always sweet and fun when we ran into each other. I'm sorry I won't be seeing her at the next Custer Street Art Fair.

Eileen was a dear friend and "co-conspirator" to my mother, Jessie Sheridan. They shared many adventures scouting out the best stuff at garage and rummage sales all over town. We need to create more of the irreverent joy they brought to the world. RIP Eileen.

I'm am truly sorry for your loss. I mean it. I've known Mrs. Wasserman since I was a kid (that's why I still call her "Mrs. Wasserman", that's I addressed her as a kid). You are very lucky. She was truly one of the most positive people I've ever met.

My sympathies to the Wasserman Family. Through your strength, your mother was able to enjoy a dignified death in the comfort of her home. She will always live in your hearts.

You were there is all I can say and I will so very much miss you. To all the girls you know How much I love you all.
