Timmy and I want to tell each of you how sorry we are to hear about your Mom (Grandmother). She was a very special lady!! I'm sure you will all miss her very much but I know you each have great memories of her that will last forever. We were planning to come to family night to be with you all but Timmy is very sick with flu or cold so we will not be able to make it. I stopped by the funeral home this morning. Know that our love and prayers are with you all.

I have lots of good memories of Ed that go back to when I was a little girl. She was a special person and I will remember her with great fondness. My prayers are with the family.

I have wonderful memories of Ed & Popeye. Their house was the best one to go to at Halloween. Ed was a dear friend to my grandmother (mary alice) and she will be missed by all our family. My thouhts are with you all.

Sincere sympathy to all of the Thompson family. "Ed" is going to be greatly missed by so many. I am sure that most of Lunenburg County has some wonderful memories of her. She was truly a remarkable lady.

: I met this lady by accident, we bumped into one another one Sunday coming out of church and became instant friends. She would call me and we talked for hours... or should I say she would talk, I would listen. I loved to listen to her stories about her husband, children and grandchildren and everytime she called me she would tell me about a Tom Thumb wedding she did, she was so proud of her life and accompolishments. I was proud to call her friend.
