(nee Sass), loving father of Alan and Edward (Marilyn) Szafraniec and the late Kenneth (Ann) Schaeffer, devoted grandfather of Beth Trevino, Kenneth, Kathleen, Steven, Brian, Michael (Eredis), Laura (Sonny) Simmons and Melanie Brandt, great-grandfather of Tom, Paige, Aris, Tara, Nick and Kaleo, fond brother of Virginia (James) Borgett, Lottie Szafraniec and the late Helen (late Bruno) Olech. Funeral Monday, July 11th, at 9:30 a.m., from Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home, 6250 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago, to St. Thecla Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Member of Lafayette Council, 361 K. of C., Past President of Weber H.S. Fathers Club & Alumni Association. In lieu of flowers, donations to Rainbow Hospice, 444 N.
