Scholl, Edward T. 66, died suddenly, August 29, 2003, resident of Mount Prospect, formerly of Edison Park. Executive Director of the Passionist Development Office. Former Alderman of Chicago's 41st Ward, State Senator from the 16th District. Former Editor of The Edison-Norwood Review Newspaper. Author of "7 Miles of Ideal Living" and "March of Progress." Board member of various corporations and non-profit organizations. Beloved husband of 43 years to Rosemary (nee Wright), loving father of Michael (Christine) Scholl, Cindy (Michael) Gentile and Karen (Bryan) Cieslak, proud grandfather of Jamie and Dena Sanford, Michael Gentile, Samantha, Michael and "Z"achary Scholl, Matthew, Daniel and Brianna Cieslak, fond brother of Alice (Roderick) Wells, Virginia (Robert) Hanson, Marilyn (James) Oberbreckling, Robert (Rosemary) Scholl, Jane (Richard) Brenner and James (JoAnn) Scholl, fond brother-in-law of Sister Margaret Wright, R.S.M. and Joanne (Joe) Douda, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Tuesday from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at The M.J. Suerth Funeral Home, 6754 N. Northwest Highway (Rand Road), Chicago. Funeral Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Harlem and Talcott Avenues, Chicago. Mass 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Passionist Fathers and Brothers, in honor of Rev. John F. Kobler, C.P., 5700 N. Harlem Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60631. Interment private.
