Dear Mr. Bender and family,



I just found out about Eddie's death. We are truely sorry for your loss. Eddie was a wonderful man. He always asked about my family and I enjoyed bringing him up to date, and he enjoyed hearing about it. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Eddie will be missed.

Our family has been coming into your jewlery shop for over 30 years. When I came in today, I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Eddie. He was always smiling and sharing stories of his family with me. He was so proud of all of you and talked about all the accomplishments and what everyone was doing. He never forgot to ask how my children were and how my family was. We will miss his easy nature and smiling face. Please accept our deepest sympathies and hope that his memory will comfort you all at this difficult time.

Tom and I have only just learned that you have lost Eddie. We were simply stunned and so very sad, though we know our pain cannot approach that which you and all of the rest of your family are experiencing. Eddie was just a joy, such a fine part of the Frank Bender Jewelers team, such a sunny and upbeat human being. He always asked how we were, remembered the details of our last conversation, checked on the children, had very specific questions to ask. And always with a positive and encouraging comment. I cannot imagine walking into the shop and not hearing his voice, seeing his face; how simply awful.



Again we apologize for being so slow in sending these thoughts; we only just heard. You have our deepest sympathies, our condolences, our best wishes for holding all the good memories you have, and our hope for some form of peace and understanding. Our hearts go out to you all.
