Our sincerest sympathy to the entire Rickert family, especially our dear friend Terese. We know how you will miss your Dad. He fought a good battle in a fight he could not win. Now it time for him to rest. The Lord said, "No greater love has a man, than he lay down his life for his friend." Over the years, both as a defender of our country and as a protector of life and property, he has repeatedly demonstrated his willingness to share this love.
I'm sure the Lord has a special place prepared for him, where he may rejoin loved ones and friends and rest in peace. Remember the sounding bells, 3 - 3 - 5, Returning Home from Last Alarm.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Rickert Family in their time of grief. At times like these, "God is near to those who are broken at heart;
And those crushed in spirit he saves." (Psalm 34:18) I hope this will bring the family a measure of comfort.
