Dad, you were my greatest role model. I didn't realize how much until you were gone. I miss you more than anyone will ever know. I never knew how much you would impact my life with your words. Never realized how amazing you really were. You were incredible in all that you've done. Thank you dad.
I will see you again

I worked with Eddie when I first joined the CPD and was assigned to the 001st district. I always will have fond memories of him. May his memory live in your hearts forever.

Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Edward and his wife. I had the pleasure of attending Farragut High School with him. He was always kind, considerate and willing to help everyone. God gave us a wonderful man.
Peace be with you all.

Great guy. Loved being a police officer on foot patrol downtown Chicago. Greeted everyone with a smile. Nothing but good memories of Eddie.
