I recently heard of your passing through Demi's mother Margaret. At your son's wedding, we had a pleasant chat and talked about our late mutual friend and my dear relative Senator Marshall Korshak.

I have just heard of Ed's passing. He will be missed. Condolences to Rita and Ed and the rest of the family. He was a great friend to me and my Dad and many other people.

A truly great person. He was friends with my mother and her father Barney O'Brien for decades. A good friend of my late father and many other Judges too. He loved his wife, life and all people.

With every sympathy on your family's great loss. May good memories comfort you. You are in my prayers.

There was never a finer gentleman than Ed. He was a great friend and a friend to all, a man who lived up to the principles of his faith each day.

As great a man as ever I've known. A life well lived, a faithful servant of the Lord. Ed McElroy set an outstanding example for all to admire and emulate.

My sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Ed McElroy. I came to know Ed through Senate President Emil Jones, Jr. as his Community Liaison. Ed was always pleasant and kind to my sons and myself. May his memory bring Joy and Good Deeds be done on his behalf.

Please accept my sympathy on your loss. I've known Ed since the early '90's and would run into him over the years at various functions. He was always gracious and considerate and just a perfect gentleman. I'm sorry for your loss.
