I recently heard of your passing through Demi's mother Margaret. At your son's wedding, we had a pleasant chat and talked about our late mutual friend and my dear relative Senator Marshall Korshak.
Take care Ed and enjoy your well-deserved after life.

Deepest condolences to Rita and the whole McElroy family. So many of my fondest memories growing up involve the great Ed McElroy. Always true to his ideals and convictions, he will be remembered for his great love of family, community, public service and, of course, his many friends and the White Sox. We are grateful for the support and guidance he gave to our father and family and know this world is a better place because he walked through it. The McElroy family is in our thoughts and prayers. With much love, Jackie Buckley OX

Ed's charisma was like another character in his fantastic life story. He wore that charisma wherever he went and owned every room he entered. He used that charisma to not only touch the lives of thousands of people, but help them in dramatic ways. Thank you Ed for being the living example that you were. May you continue to grace us all from Heaven.
