Beloved husband of Nina (nee Glodek); devoted father of Thomas (Lisa), Richard, Gerald (Jeanette) and Denise Yonkers; loving grandfather of Nadia, Victoria, Zachary and Kyle. Past president of St. Rita High School Father's Club. Active with West Lawn Little League, Polish National Alliance and Central Park American Legion Post 1028. Visitation Friday 3:00-9:00 p.m. at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 S.Southwest Hwy. (7700W), Palos Hills. Funeral Saturday 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home to Sacred Heart Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. I never got a chance to meet Edward. I live in Haverhill, Massachusetts and one of Tommy's best friends. If Tom was anything like Edward, he had to be an exceptional person. I was friends with Tom for over 30 years and I feel sorry for never meeting Edward.
