Gierczyk, Edward age 80, longtime Glenwood and Homewood resident, recently of Palos Heights, husband of the late Carol (nee Magliocco), father of Janice, James (Joanna), Edward Anthony (Dana), Daniel (Susan) and David Gierczyk, grandfather of Joshua, Gianna, Jimmy, Dominick, Marty and Michael Gierczyk. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W. 14th St., (U.S. Rt. 30, three blks E. of Western Ave.), Chicago Heights, on Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday, 9:15 a.m., to St. Paul Church, 206 E. 25th St., Chicago Heights. Mass 10 a.m. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City. Info., 708-481-9230.

Our deepest sympathies to the Gierczyk family. We will always remember Eddie for his love & dedication to his family and his passion for golf. After a round of golf we would sit down at the gin rummy table where Eddie displayed his superb skills. He will be deeply missed.
