Edward F. Freemon, Sr., "Mr. Negatory", 86, U.S. Marine Corp Korean War Veteran, Retired CFD Captain and longtime member of Teamsters Local 727; Devoted father of Theresa (Vito) Pesoli, Edward F. Freemon, Jr., the late Eugene Freemon and Laura Richards; Beloved grandfather of the late Vito Pesoli, Jr., Stephanie (Gregory) Klos, Edward England, Samantha Richards, Jaimie Richards and Ashley Freemon and great-grandfather of 10; Loving companion of Karen Baskin for 20 years. Edward was a strong, welcome presence and an integral part of the lives of Karen's family: Jessica, Jarett, Rachael, Ana and Liv. Dear brother of Sissy Hogan and the late Margaret Corbett; Fond uncle to many. Visitation Friday 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Procession to Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Christ the King Mausoleum for entombment will follow. Worked with Ed more than 40 years ago. Eddie was one of the toughest firemen I ever knew. 40 plus years later we still remember the funny times. A legend, RIP Ed

Let me offer my sincerest condolences to Karen and the Freemon family! You will be sorely missed by your friends at Teamsters 727, your character is shown when at 84 years of age you busted down a door to save 2 people trapped in a fire.
The laughs will last a lifetime, i wish you blessed repose and eternal memory!
