Edward Craig Obituary

Craig, Edward 78, of Fedhaven, FL, died Thursday, November 15, 2001, at Winter Haven Hospital (CVA). He was born August 4, 1923, in Chicago, IL and moved to Fedhaven 20 years ago from Bogota, NJ. He was a retired Postal Clerk. He was a veteran of WWII in the U.S. Army, serving in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. He received the Meritorious Unit Award, Good Conduct Medal, WWII Victory Medal, European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with Four Bronze Battle Stars and Four Overseas Service Bars. He was a member of the A.A.R.P., American Postal Workers Union and V.F.W. Post #7361, Fedhaven. He was of the Catholic faith. Services will be held in Chicago. Memorials of remembrance may be made to the V.F.W. Post #7361, P.O. Box 8772, Fedhaven, FL, 33854-8772. Survivors include: daughters, Grace Craig of Cliffside Park, NJ, Carole Flannelley of Lyndhurst, NJ and Dorothy (Frank) Craig- Vuono of Lyndhurst, NJ; son, Edward J.
