My dear buddy "Father B" -
I found out too late that you have left us!
Who will bless me now when I leave the second floor of St. Benedict's to journey back home after my visits...? You know how much those special blessings meant to me each and every time I asked you for one.
I will miss our many little chats about Faith and our Church, life and its challenges. I thank God that He placed you on my path at St. Benedict's. Say hello to Him and His Mother for me and my family.
As before, please pray for me and I will pray for you.

My sympathy to Fr. Ed's family. I've known Fr. Ed since I was a little kid at St. Mary Magdalene while he was the assistant. He was an inspiration to me. I have fond memories of the times we have seen each other over the years. Fr. Ed now enjoys the Face of the God he loved so faithfully for 89 years.
