Its so hard to believe that so many years have already gone by. It was always so nice to see him at the pharmacy and to spend a few minutes chatting with him. One of my favorite people, and this is such a reminder of how much I miss him.

Rick,
I'm so sorry to hear of your dads passing today. Al Blyskis told me
this morning. We are working together in Pennsylvania currently.
Your dad was a great teacher to me
at Quaker Oats and I was very fortunate to know him and work with him. He reminded me a lot of my own father.....all you had to do was
get him really riled up about something and
he would start cussing to himself
and that would get us laughing.
He always had a solution to engineering problems...big or small
...and the solutions always worked.
I was just talking to Joe Rustick
last Friday and was wondering how
your dad was doing and how old he was. This wasn't the way I wanted
to find out. Sorry, I cannot make it
to the wake or funeral.
