Edmund Watkins Obituary

Watkins, Edmund Charles Age 62, of Polk City, FL passed away on March 10, 2015. He was born on May 29, 1952 in Evergreen Park, IL to David and Dolores (McBride) Watkins. Edmund is survived by his brothers, David J., Lawrence V. (Carol), and Jeffrey M. (Diane) Watkins; sister, Doreen (Robert) Young; brother-in-law, Mario Minervini, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Karen Minervini. Edmund was a beloved brother and uncle of many. He enjoyed horseshoes, boxing, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. A Funeral Mass for Edmund will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 356 W. 700 N., Valparaiso, IN 46385 with Father Paul Quanz officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368.
