Fr. Jim, I just got back from out of the country and mom told me about your mom...I'm so so sorry I was not in the country and could not attend services - you know I would have been there. We all have many good memories to look back upon. (Now grandma and your mom are living it up and watching over all of us -- look out!) You are in our thoughts and prayers, and please keep in touch. Peace to you......Carolyn (Klauck) Lejman

Dear Fr.Merold,
Fr. Steve told me about the death of your beloved Mother and I wanted to express my deepest sympathy and prayers to you at this time. Having lost my own dear Mother almost two years ago, I can sympathize about how hard it is to say good-bye, but know that she will continue to watch over you and pray for you before the throne of Almighty God. May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be a source of comfort and strength to you.
God Bless and Keep You Always.

Dear Father Merold, You have always been there to administer to all of our needs during times of great sorrow in our lives. Please know that we now share in the loss of your dear mother. What a blessed gift you have been given to have had her present in your life these many years where she was able to witness God working thru you in the lives of others! We pray that our Lord will comfort and guide you and bring you strength during the difficult days ahead. As you have so often reminded us, "one may be lonely, but never alone."
