Earl Robert Pate
Pate, Earl Robert served in Korea with the 726th Transportation Truck Company of the 231st Transportation Battalion. Orignally from McKenzie, TN, he moved to Chicago after the war and went to work for Western Electric which became Alcatel Lucent by the time he retired. He was a long time resident of the Maple Park neighborhood where he lived with his second wife, the late Jimmie H. Pate. After retirement, he remarried and moved to Hot Springs Village, AR. He is survived by his current wife, Lois Pate and two sons, Wayne Pate and Ronnie Pate, and three stepchildren, Wendi, James and Joseph Walker. Visitation Wednesday, 10:00 a.m.; Funeral 11:00 a.m., at Doty Nash Funeral Home, 8620 S. Stony Island. Burial to follow immedaitely at Lincoln Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to G.
