My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Unfortunately, as first cousins we did not see much of each other. I hope your family will find peace through God's everlasting love.

To the Kelly family,
I first met Mike when I was a summer intern at Hinshaw in 1972 and Mike was a first year associate. During that summer I got to know Mike and we spent many hours talking about the law and life in general. We remained friends ever since and handled several cases together over the years.
Mike was a great lawyer, but more importantly he was a great friend. My deepest sympathy on your loss.
With Sympathy,
Jim Harman

My thoughts and prayers are with the Family at this time of sorrow.
Weeping may endure for a night but joy will come in the morning.
God Bless you all.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. You may not remember me, but I worked for Mike from 1976 to 1980 (my last name was Gebhardt at that time). He was my first boss, and was very kind and tolerant with my ignorance. I am extremely sorry for your loss.

Mike and I shared an office at the State's Attorney in the then Civic Center in the summer of 1971. We knew each other since then as defense laws and he recruited me to the Nellie Fox Society. He always had the inside information. He was an excellent lawyer, true Sox fan and great human being.
