Dudley Kent Vail passed away on March 28th, 2025. A longtime resident of Ridge, New York, Dudley was born on June 16th, 1939 in Greenport, New York. Before joining the army in 1957, Dudley was a proud resident of East Marion, New York.
He retired from Brookhaven National Laboratory in 2001 and spent much of his retirement as an active member of UGHA (United Group Harmony Association).
Dudley is survived by his loving wife, Joyce (nee Ketcham), his cherished daughters Jennifer (Eric Boutges) and Cindy Nichols, and his beloved granddaughter Kayla Nichols. He leaves behind a legacy of love and generosity that is an inspiration to all who knew him.
As the family reflects on the memories they shared, they find comfort in the immeasurable impact Dudley had on their lives- a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandfather and steadfast friend. His spirit will always remain in the hearts of those who cherished him.
