Dear children and Ida:
My sincere sympathy on your great loss. As y ou know, my relationship with your family goes back many, many years and I feel that this loss is also felt very much to everyone that know Dorothy. We had a relationship that goes all the way back to our parents. I feel very sad that I wasn't able to see Dorothy when I visited Chicago. I did call her but was unable to speak to her. May you only know of simchas and know of no more sorrows.
