To the Horn family, my heart goes out to all of you. Aunt Dorothy was a wonderful caring and generous lady. She loved you all very much. I recall her comming to the cafe and talking of each of you, She especially loved her grandchildren. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel and I know she had a wonderful reunion with Al and the rest of her family.I pray that God will hold you in his arms as you go thru the comming days and months. Hold close the wonderful memories that you have. May God bless you all.

We loved and enjoyed the time we spent with her. What a blessing to be able to read scripture, sing, and pray with her during her final hours. We send love and prayers to her family and pray your grief will soon be replaced by the sweet memories you have of her.

Rest in peace Dorothy. The legacy that you leave behind through your wonderful children, grandchildren and great grandchildren is a testament to what a wonderful woman you must have been. Grandma, I miss you. I thought about you Sunday on your birthday and thought about all the amazing birthday presents grandpa loved to shower you with and the seven birthdays he missed. I thought about how you were with him again on this birthday and what a present that must have been!!! One day I will see you again your face beaming with delight in grandpas arms. He loved and cherished you so much. I'm so excited to think you are now happy. Living in Gods kingdom with grandpa. How happy you two must be to be reunited! I love you both so very much. I know you are there with grandma Selock and Kevin. Hug them both for me. I can't wait to be reunited with you all one day when God sees fit. I love you so much. I wish I had made it to your side sooner. I know you know I was there and I'm so thankful I was given the opportunity. May your soul rejoice in The Lord. Thank you Lord for your grace and mercy. Heal those earthly hearts left behind. We know we will be reunited again Lord but our earthly hearts ache for those lost. May you comfort those left behind and grant peace. I pray your return is coming soon. What a glorious day that will be!!!!

The last two days of my Mom's life were spent with friends and family praying, singing, and showing her love. Tom and I were there both days. Pastor David came to pray. Her grandson Shane spent hours with her the night before she died. Four friends were singing Jesus Loves Me when she took her last breath. Her church friends gave a beautiful memorial service the next day. Today my Mom is walking with Jesus, no pain and no wheel chair. We miss her, but we are glad she is in a better place. See you again, Mom. Tom and Dixie

Dixie, I enjoyed the times that Dorothy and I spent together while she was here in Georgia. I fondly recall when she first came here and I'd take her shopping or we'd go out to lunch. I recall how much she loved Mia and taking Mia to have Christmas pictures taken. Her death came as a great shock to me. You were a good daughter and Tom was a great son-in-law. May God's peace and comfort be with you and the family.

My sympathies to the Horn family. I met Dorothy a few times as I was a young teenager working at the South 41 Ponderosa in the early 1970's. My memories of Al and Dorothy Horn were that they were caring and generous poelple who gave a lot of us our first jobs. Major Horn provided great guidance and mentoring on developing good work ethics. You're family is in our prayers.
