I taught at Harper School during Dorothy's final years there. She was a pleasure to work with. I remember her as kind, intelligent, soft-spoken, easy to be with. I haven't seen her in years, but somehow feel a loss with her passing.

you mom was my daughter kelli's first grade teacher at mc kenzie elementary school in wilmette many years ago. she was the most loving teacher and she reminded my daughter so much of her own grandmother that kelli often called her grama in school a few times over that year. i was saddened to read her obituary yesterday. peace be to the memory of a wonderful woman. we loved her.
