"Mrs. Dehnicke" was there when I walked to kindergarten, which is my earliest memory; but she was there from the day I was born. We were neighbors. We were friends. We were co-workers at one point, and she gave me a place to live for a time. She was one of my most influential role models. I came to call her "Mom."
Blessed to have had her in my life, I am content in knowing that she is safely and happily in Heaven.
