Donna Sliwka Obituary

Sliwka, Donna Marie 64, passed peacefully at home after a long fight with cancer with her family at her side. Donna was a longtime employee of CPS where she touched the hearts of many students, teachers, and friends. Donna was known for her laughter and positive outlook on life. She was a fighter, had a heart of gold and the strength no one could deny. She was the backbone of the family, the storyteller to her grandchildren, and a friend to all. Beloved wife of Peter; loving mother of Steven (Lauren), Amy (David), Lisa (Chris) and Peter; cherished grandmother of Bella, Mya, Ava, GB, and Emerson; dearest sister of Edith (Jim), Virginia (Ken), George (Jan) and Gary (Nancy); fond sister-in-law of Kathleen and Mildred; also many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
