Wasik, Donald F. U.S. Army Veteran, beloved husband and friend of Theresa F. (nee Stricula), cherished father of Cynthia Marie Wasik, Sheri Ann (Patrick) Maher and Donna Therese Wasik, dear son of Mary (nee Dubnicek) and the late Frank Wasik, loving brother of Gerald (Joyce) Wasik and Diane (Robert) Petska, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews and friend of many. Funeral Friday, 9:15 a.m., from Thompson & Kuenster Funeral Home, 5570 W. 95th St., Oak Lawn, to St. Louis de Montfort Church for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation Thursday, from 3 to 9 p.m. Member of Darius-Girenas American Legion Post 271. 708-425-0500

Our Thoughts and Prayers are with all of you. We know all to well exactly how you are feeling. I will always remember that everytime I saw Don he had a smile on his face! Take comfort in the love and support of all your family and friends. They make a world of difference, the amount of strength you gain from others is overwhelming. Know that Don is always going to be with you in everything you do. You will feel him around you whenever you need his advice and support the most. If you need anything we are always just a phone call away.
