Mr. Senase was quite a man, a mentor, and a great neighbor as I recall some of our conversations across the fence.

Dear Margaret, Bob , and Family

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know that Don was truly a great man who achieved a lot in his lifetime. I've known him since Bob and I became friends, I was 11 years old. I remember when I first met him he was working on his 1950 Chevy. Bob introduced me to him and he growled something back at me (scared the hell out of me) then I saw him snickering. I grew to learn that that was the kind of guy he was, always willing to try to get a laugh even if he was the only one to get it. He ended up being one of the few men I ever looked up to. I remember when I started school for the police department how he gave me all his notes from when he was in school hoping that it would make school a little easier for me, which it did. As years went by we would seek each other out at family parties and exchange "war" stories and I remember how he would listen as intently to mine as I did his. He was a great man, father, and police officer. He will be missed by all who knew him. I know how terrible the loss of a loved one can be and I know the pain that you all must be feeling. I also know that someday you won't cry anymore when you think of him, instead you will smile and laugh at the many happy and funny memories that he left you.
