Schmidt Sr., Donald E. U.S. Army Veteran, loving husband of Rosemary L. (nee Malzone) , dearest father of Lori (Jim) McGoldrick, Kathy (Wayne) Bodie, Terry (Kevin) Hycner, Patty (Dave Jaroszewski), Mary, Jamie (Juan Soliz Jr.), the late Donald E. Jr. and the late Traci L., cherished grandfather of Christopher, Jenny, Sean, Jessica, Brittany, Timmy, Danny and the late Nicole Schaeflein, dear brother of Robert Schmidt, fond uncle and friend of many, retired painter after 41 years from IITRI. Funeral Thursday, 9:15 a.m. from the Wolniak Funeral Home, 5700 S. Pulaski Rd. to St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
