Rae,on behalf of all the ladies at the beauty shop ,we want to extend our deepest and most profound sympathies .They say life is just a whisper in our ears, but Don will remain a song in our hearts . An old southern saying,"don't just pray when it's raining, you pray when the sun is shining too .I know you were grateful for every day you had with Don.

My husband and I bowled with Don and Rae for many years on Saturday nights. Don was a great guy and we have a lot of great memories! Watching him and Rachel dance at our wedding and all of our bowling banquets is one of those memories. They put the rest of us to shame! We always had a lot of laughs!
Our condolences to Rachel and all of their family members. He will be missed!
Love,

This morning, my first cup of coffee was out of my dads favorite coffee mug. Its old and chipped, but it was his. He insisted on using it. So, as I sit and sip, I'm missing you dad. Lets have another cup, together.

He told me I was beautiful and gave me a kiss on the lips. He fell into a deep sleep but we held his hands and relived our memories. I pray that he was able to hear our love. He passed away at peace with his life and with continuing on his journey to the next. Although these last few days were emotionally difficult, I will forever cherish the words that were spoken, the love that was shown, and all that he has taught me. I will think of him every day. There will be tears and grief, but also many smiles remembering the man that is my father. I love you Dad!
