Piper O'Brien

Donald O'Brien, my grandpa, was a very respectable man who I always admired and enjoyed. My grandpa was a GREAT man and had good intentions for all, these intentions therefore carried on to shaping his life and putting him were he is now. I just hope everyone keeps him in their minds and keeps praying for his wife, my grandma.

To all the O'Brien's, Sue and I offer our deepest Sympathy. I will never forget the dinner debates your father conducted each night at Palisades, while I waited to go out with the boys. The great parties our folks had and the good times our families shared, will always remain in my heart. The Senator excelled in all his endeavors, but I cannot believe his laugh was not his best attribute, it still rings in my ears today. Love to all.

My deepest condolences to the O'Brien family. I clerked for Judge O'Brien in 1975-76 and have always appreciated the fact that he hired me at the at a time when there were not many woman attorneys. The experience I gained as a Chancery Clerk was invaluable to my career. Some of the lessons learned in my clerkship with Judge O'Brien in the Circuit Court have found fruition in my practice in the New Jersey Superior and Appellate Courts, for which I am grateful. May God Bless.

My deepest sympathies on the passing of my first legal mentor. I learned a lot about the law and the court system from Judge O'Brien. I know he is in a better place and will be missed by his friends and members of the legal community.
Sincerley,
