O'Brien Sr., Donald P. 77, Korean War Army Veteran, beloved husband of the late MaryAnne (nee Cribben), devoted father of Deborah O'Brien, Kathleen Stack, Donald P. Jr. (Denise) and Patrick J., proud grandfather of Michelle (Jeff) Dusing, Bob Stack, Kiefer Camp and step-grandsons, loving brother of Kevin (Mary Lou), the late Rita (James) Hosty, Francis O'Brien and Ann (the late William) Kovats, dear brother-in-law of Betty Knight, also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Monday, 9:45 a.m., from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, to St. Albert the Great Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Member of Johnson-Phelps VFW Post 5220. Info: 708-636-1193

To Deb, Kathy, Don & Pat -
My condolences go out to you and the rest of the family. Your dad was one great man. The one thing I will always remember is that big grin on his face when he laughed and the shrugging of his shoulders. He enjoyed life.

I remember Mary Ann & Donny so well. I lived at 68th & Laflin when Betty & MaryAnn lived on Justine with Jeserniks. Later, I lived at 7147 Hermitage, right down the street. i used to visit as you kids were little. My condolences & I am so sorry to hear that your Mom has passed, also. If you can put your Aunt Betty in touch with me, I would appreciate it.
