Donald Goldsmith was a weekly massage client of mine for many years. You get to know people in this line of work, and Don was one of the sweetest, smartest, most cheerful and pleasant people it has been my pleasure to know. He came to mind today, hence my searching and finding this obituary.
RIP, Don. You made the world a happier place just by living in it.

Donald was a wonderful guy and a true gentleman. He was well respected for many years in the metals industry and in retirement it was always a pleasure to be in his company.

Our deep sympathy
to all of you. I have been a friend of Don's since our days living in Hyde Park at the blackwood apartment hotel and was proud of our friendship When we would meet in Highland Park we would always say "lets get together" but never could arrange a time.

Donald was a great guy. He was fun; he was interesting;; he was interested. He gave of himself and we are all better people because of it. I saw him rarely, but I shall truly miss his presence. Mickey Fox
