God Bless Mr Foley. I was honored to take care of him at Manor Care. He was a great person. And a fellow Canaryville Cousin. He loved to tell me about how he was born in Canaryville on 48th street. And that he was soo happy to hear about the old neighborhood. What a wonderful special soul he was!!!!!! May God Bless and keep him. MaryEllen Enright Negrete Manor Care Respiratory Therapist.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Foley was my minor league baseball coach back in the old days of Byrnes-Wagner Little League. He also took us up on the snorkel at 57th and Halsted. I'm just glad I had the opportunity to thank him later on. He was the ultimate gentleman.

I will always remember Uncle Don as the nicest uncle anyone could have. When I came in from playing outside, he would tell me I looked all streakedy kid. Then he would stand me on our toilets seat, tell me to stand straight like a soldier and wash my face. No matter where I sat in school, he told me it was the dummy row. He would ask me if there were any cute tomatoes in my class. And no matter how many times I tried, I could never beat him in a quick draw with my gun, because he was already blowing the smoke off his gun. I am lucky to have had lots of great uncles, especially uncle Don and I will miss him a ton. Your nephew Patrick
