I was Donalds teacher at St. Richards. If I remember correctly, he was a part of my first graduating class. When I saw his name pop up on my email, i immediately thought of this cute, and oh so funny 8th grader. He had the humor of an adult. He was a trouble maker, but that cute smile of his and sense of humor, got him out of a lot of "situations." For me to remember him after all these years just lets you know what a special young man he was. To think of him as a father and a husband brings pure joy to me. To hear of his sudden passing breaks my heart. My deepest and utmost sympathy goes out to all of Donald's family, and friends.
I pray that God gives you all strength and faith to get through these days ahead.
Much love, Colleen Biszewski

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Don and Kathy
You know my thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm sorry I could not be with you. Donny was just down here and I did get to spend some time with him, he was his cheerful self. The first time I met Donny he came running up to me hollering Grandma. He loved to introduce me as his grandmother and then watch the reaction. We have to know that he is now at peace.

Don was one of a kind definitely. Someone who constantly had you laughing with his one liners and parts of songs he would blurt out and make you wonder "where did that come from?" And then break out a dance to go with it. He had a big heart and loved his family and friends dearly and loved to have a good time. May you all let his spirit live on with good memories. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

The Alonso family has fond memories of you. You were part of us growing up and you will be missed. I will always remember mayo sandwiches and buttered tortillas as kids. That's all we knew how to make. I know you are well and resting in heaven.
My heart-felt prayers go out to your family and friends.
"Do not let your hearts be troubled. You have faith in God; have faith also in me.In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If there were not, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back again and take you to myself, so that where I am you also may be." John 14:1-3

I am so saddened and sorry for your loss. I was Donald's Junior high school teacher back at St. Richard. I was only 23 years old at the time but I can still remember him. He had a great sense of humor and was quite the"wise guy". He had a true sense of who he was. It makes me so happy to read that he was a Father. I bet he was a great one. I hope you hold on to his memories and keep them close to your heart . I wish your family strength and faith in the days ahead. You will be in my prayers.

The man that knew every word to every song. He didn't even have to know you personally to shake your hand and give a simple "hey, how are ya." I can't even begin to count the number of times I heard from different people that Donny was "the funniest person they knew." Donny will be missed greatly by many. I will have a Blue Moon in his honor. "Farewell! God knows when we shall meet again"

Oh, Donny I'm going to miss all the car rides and great conversations, playing with your kids, the "Loves of Your Life", when you walked into a room you always lite it up, always a smile on your face, and a goofy joke or comment to follow. Thanks for being one of the brothers I never had growing up. I took you for granted, I just thought you would always be there, you gave me lots of encouragement and stuck up for me many times. You loved your kids with all your heart and I will remind them of every memory and fun times when those days come up and they ask me about you, "Remember When".......Love your step-sister Kells.........
