Don Gorham was a treasure to his family and a national treasure to the United States of America. It was an honor to know and learn from him and I am very proud that he was my friend. He and his close friend, Japanese Admiral Kazutomi Uchida, were among the two very finest professional and personal gentlemen I have ever met. With deepest sympathy to the Gorham Family, Jim Auer, Vanderbilt University, Franklin Tennessee
