Dolores Utter Obituary

DOLORES M. UECKERT UTTER, 74, passed away on May 5, 2003. Born in Sommerville, Texas, she was the daughter of Raymond G. and Ruby Ueckert, both deceased. Mrs. Utter was retired from Sears where she was a Customer Service Representative. She was a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church and also a member of Sons of Hermann. Besides her parents, Mrs. Utter was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert Joseph Utter; son, Robert Wayne Utter; and brothers, Waldo, Johnnie and Raymond J. Ueckert. She is survived by daughter, Melanie Gilliam and husband, Ken of Sugar Land; son, John David Utter and wife, Dana of Pearland; sister, Bonnie Freudenberg and husband, Gilbert of LaGrange; brother, Roy Ueckert and wife, Jean of Houston; brother, Ray Ueckert of Houston; grandchildren, Jennifer, William, Kimberley and Garrett Gilliam and Robert and Ashley Utter and numerous other relatives. The family will receive visitors from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2003 at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday in the Main Chapel of the funeral home with interment to follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Pastor Robert Smith, Doug Milholland, Chuck McGraw, Randy Utter, Jack Holland, Dave Alley and Mark Landrum. Rev. Larry Beck will officiate.

Roy and Jean - Sorry to hear the news. Thinking back, Denver Harbor was a long time ago. We're on our way to Arkansas, taking Linda's parents to attend the college graduation of their last grandaughter (our niece). Come see us in San Antonio.
