Lunch at Benedictine Abbey in Tyniec, Poland

January 5, 2010

Dear Joe,

It was such a blessing to have met you and Delores on our trip to Poland. We always treasured the moments we had together, both in Poland and at our "reunion dinners." Delores touched our lives as well as I'm sure she touched many others. We will always cherish the memories of the times we shared together.

We have good reason to hope of Delores' inheritance in heaven, and will continue to pray for her and your family.

Yours in Christ,
Theresa and Justin Czarnowski

Dear Joe, Michael, Steven and Rosetta,
I cannot begin to express to all of you, how your mother and wife touched my life, knowing her from the time I was in first grade, when I became best friends with Michael and Steven. Now, as I look back over all those years, so many visits to your home, the years working with SPRED and all the wonderful and warm memories of Dolores and your entire family, despite 25yrs. of separation since moving to Oregon, I still feel a personal loss and cherish my association with her and each of you over the years. As so many have already expressed, she was kindness, gentleness, love and compassion personified. Truly one of those people whose life was lived in a way which enriched her corner of the world and all who had the good fortune of knowing her. Wish I could have been in Chicago with all of you for the funeral. Much love and prayer goes out to each of you.
Jim Mockaitis (Bend, Oregon).

Dear Joey:

Deepest sympathy is extended to your family. Our love and prayers are with you as you go thru life's greatest sorrow. May your faith in God sustain you, bring comfort today, courage for tomorrow, and hope in your hearts always. Our special Dolores is gone from your sight, but not from your mind; gone from your touch, but not from your heart. Let God be your source of strength - His grace is sufficient!

God bless you all and heal your broken hearts....
