From the first day as a little girl that I would babysit and see you peeking around the corner and your sister would yell at you, and I would say its ok, to the grown up lady that you became,the loving wife and wonderful business person you became, made me very proud to be your brother in law. Jim and Nick,I have truly been blessed to have someone like Diane in my life,she was the big sister that I never had,not only did she stand up to me,but she also stood up for me and beside me through thick and thin.Friends like that are far and few. Diane always had a kind word and gentleness about her where ever she went. I remember when she and her Mom interduced me to cake in the face at a family party at the old house in Blue Island and we laugh about it,while I wiped cake off of my bald head. She will truly be missed by all.I know that she is smiling down on you and Nick and that she is not gone;but only moved up to a much better place to spread more of her blessings around. Jimmy - Joe and I did not know Diane very long but you don't have to know a person a long time to realize how wonderful and loving a person she was. I think of the fun we had on the cruise, the dinners and her birthday party. My sympathy to you and Nick and may God give you peace that she is in a better place. We will miss her wonderful outgoing personality and beautiful smile. May God be with you at this very difficult time.

I have 3 beautiful ceramic planters you made me that I look at everyday, autographed, and a beautiful Owl piece you made me especially for my birthday in 1983 when you were into ceramics, and you were so good at it.
