Diane Ozark Obituary

Ozark, Diane Carol

Diane Carol Ozark (neé Pryde) entered into eternal rest with family by her side on September 9, 2025, in Menasha, WI at the age of 79. Daughter of Helen (Miarecki) and Chester Pryde, beloved sister of Barbara (Robert) Rada, Chester, Paul, and Andrea (Stevan) Fagan. Born on December 22, 1945, she grew up around the Brighton Park, Chicago neighborhood and attended Kelly High School. She was married to the love of her life, Gerard (Jerry) Ozark, for over 58 years and had a strong marriage rooted in faith. Diane was an amazing mom to Gregory (Laura) and Scott (Katherine) and a loving Nana to Emma, Allison, Daniel, Matthew, Theodore, and Violet. To know Diane was to be loved by her. Family was always at her center, and she had a talent for making each one feel special. Family trips to Disney were frequent and memorable. Each holiday brought special traditions, decorations, and a full menu! Her creativity and talent included ceramics, porcelain dolls, Shutterfly books, cooking, baking, and finding the perfect presents. Food was her love language. Her unexpected departure has left a heavy void but we will take comfort in the many memories of her love.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 16th from 10-11am at St. Margaret Mary Church, in Neenah, WI followed by a mass at 11am. For those in the Chicago area, Greg and Laura will be hosting an open house memorial gathering at their home in Western Springs, IL on Wednesday, September 17th from 4-8pm (contact [email protected] for details).
