Diane touched so very many lives at the Railroad Retirement Board. She was truly a highly professional Medicare claims specialist who knew her job very well. She was also an excellent, patient teacher who helped others, including myself, understand various complicated Medicare cases. Diane had a "heart of gold" and always took time to help others. She never put on airs that she was smarter than anyone else or that she was above any task. She served others as Jesus told us to serve others when he washed His apostles' feet at the Last Supper. Now God has called His servant home. I will miss her deeply and thank God for having allowed her life's journey to cross mine the past few years.
With love,
Victor Kelmelis

To the family of Diane, I would like to say Diane was real and always the same. She was a kind, warm, generous and pleasant woman. God bless you and comfort you all in your great loss. The world would be a better place if more people like her where in it.

My sincere condolences to Diane's family. Diane was a pleasure to work with. When I first came to the section where we worked she was so nice and helpful; offering cookies and showing me the ropes. I will miss her greatly.

MY HEART ACHES FOR YOU. I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter, sister, aunt, godmother and MY dear co-worker at the RRB. I work in the cubicle right next to Diane's and we talked on a daily basis and what I really liked about her was that she was soooo real, a very down to earth and caring person. I also loved her baked cookies and she will truly be missed. I cannot take away your pain, BUT Memories are the legacy of love and I know you have plenty of them, because I do. May GOD bless you all with strength to carry on.
