Diane Flores Obituary

Flores, Diane Kay passed away in her home in Tinley Park after a long battle with cancer on January 1, 2010. Born in Fort Wayne, IN on January 29, 1943 she had a unique spirit from the start. Diane grew up in Westchester, IL where she was the first graduating classes of Proviso West High School. Her professional life was always designed so she could actively participate in her children's school and recreational activities. She retired from Sam's Club in Tinley Park in 2004. She was courageous, strong and found the ability to keep her humor until the end. She enjoyed her grandchildren, talking almost daily to them in Florida. She is predeceased in death by her parents, Donald and Betty (Traxler) Studebaker. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Joseph, who retired in 2002 from the Chicago Police Dept., her daughter, Teresa Flores-Sweet (Christopher) of Clermont, FL, her son, Joseph of Tinley Park, her grandchildren, Eli, Lilly and Willow Sweet, her sisters, Kathy Hennessy of Westchester and Cindy (Steve) Hauck of Pensacola, FL, her brother, Greg (Christine) Studebaker of Elmhurst, mother-in-law Jovita Flores, sisters-in-law Cristina (Dominick) Delgado of Oak Brook, Carmen Flores of Everett, WA, and Pam Masson of Tinley Park, Brothers-in-law Lorenzo, Esteban (Donna) and Adrian, as well as many nieces, nephews and good friends.
