Diane Conroy Obituary
Diane Conroy (nee Kieffer), age 73, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, March 5, 2022, with her family by her side. Diane is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Jeremiah Conroy; daughter, Jennifer (Joseph) Porto; grandchildren, Lucas, and Bella; siblings, Dorothy (late William) Drollinger, Cathy (Victor) Kelso; sister-in-law Margie Kieffer; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, William, and Nellie (nee Dineen) Kieffer; and her brother William Kieffer. Diane will be remembered for being a mom to everyone she met. She was the kind of person that would never hesitate to lend a helping hand and had a way of making everyone she encountered feel like they were special. Diane also enjoyed hosting many holiday parties and if a guest happened to have a favorite dish, she would be sure to make it. In her down time, she liked spending time crafting many types of things. But more than anything she loved her grandchildren. She was their biggest fan always cheering from the stands. Diane was a strong and brave woman, and will be missed by all that knew her. Services for Diane will begin on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, with a visitation from 3pm-8pm at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road in New Lenox. The services will continue the following day with a visitation at the funeral home from 9am to 10:30am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Ave, in New Lenox at 11am. Diane will be laid to rest at Good Shepherd Cemetery in Orland Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Ambrose Football Program in Davenport Iowa would be appreciated.
