Diana Salerno Obituary

Salerno, Diana H. (nee Knapik), age 70, entered the gates of heaven on May 6, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Sal; loving sister of Dona T. Knapik and John L. Knapik; aunt to David Knapik and Frank and Anthony Salerno; cherished sister in law to Barbara Salerno; treasured friends of Rose and Mike Levanduski. Diana touched many lives and will be dearly missed. Visitation Sunday 4 to 8 p.m. at Cypress Funeral Home, 1698 N. Bloomingdale Road, (between Army Trail Rd. and North Ave.) Glendale Heights. Funeral Monday 9:15 a.m. from Cypress Funeral Home to St. Matthew Catholic Church, 1555 Glen Ellyn Rd., Glendale Heights, IL for a Mass Mass 10 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Diana's family has asked for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 would be appreciated. I remember Diana Salerno from the 1st National Bank of Chicago..she was a fun lady to hang around with. You will be missed im sure you and Carolyn CRUMBACK have alot to chat about and drink too..

I am so sorry for your loss. Diana was my boss in Stock Transfer at First National Bank of Chicago. Diana was very special person and a sweet lady. She will be missed greatly. Diana also knew my dad Bill Lake from the bank.
