Mulligan; age 80, Retired CFD; Beloved husband of the late Margaret, nee Brogan; Loving father of Christina (John) Loranger, Mary (Jim) Moylan, Denise (Chris) Murphy, and Daniel Mulligan; Cherished PaPa of 15 grandchildren, John, Kevin, Meagan, Joey, Jim, Tim, Max, Bridget, Elizabeth, David, Patrick, Jeremy, Lauren, Brogan and Walker; Dear brother of Sharon (Jim) Graham; Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; Dear friend to many who will be deeply missed; Proud and loyal retired CFD firefighter and member of B.O.B. and Southside Irish Fire Brigade; Dennis was a member of Engine #50, #63 and #28 and retired out of Engine #64; Dennis was a U.S. Army veteran. Memorial visitation Saturday, August 28, 2021; all family and friends will meet directly at St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel, 7740 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL; Visitation 8:30 a.m. until time of Mass 10:30 a.m.; Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park; In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Chicago Fire Department Foundation. i was a friend of dennis when we were kids. he was a great guy and i remeber spending a lot of time by his grandmothers garage on 46th st. between union and emerald. he was also a friend of my two brother pat and bob. we all went to DELASALLE H.S. together. condolenses to his family
